What is EVOD Battery

How Do You Turn On An EVOD Battery

One of the major puzzling parts of using a vaporizer is generally turning it on. Pressing the silver button placed on the battery 5 successive times is the simple method of turning the silver pen on and off. In order to start the vaporizing process you hold the silver button one more time.

How To Charge An EVOD Battery
When the power of your EVOD vape pen is used up, it is time to re-charge the battery in order to be able to use it again. Taking the vape tank completely from the battery is the first thing to do when re-charging it. The next step after removing the tank from the battery is cleaning the battery. Use something gentle, such as a cotton piece of clothing or a tissue to clean the upper part of the battery. This part, where the tank is being tightened before tightening the charger, is very important to be cleaned thoroughly because it contributes towards saving the EVOD battery from being destroyed by any vape juice that might have gone down there. After you have finished cleaning this part, fix the charger on the upper part of the battery. Be very gentle and quit tightening it once you realize that contact has been made. Otherwise, your battery can be unfortunately easily and completely destroyed. In case you do not own another EVOD vape pen or any other similar product to it, then simply leave the tank on and use the charging port which is placed either on the side or at the bottom of the battery. When the battery is attached to the charger, you will notice that it will flash 3 times. Once the charging is completed, the USB charger's LED will change its color from red to green.
How to Fix EVOD Battery?
There is a possibility some EVOD batteries to unexpectedly stop functioning. Usually, there is one common issue which triggers this occurrence – when the tank is being fixed with the battery, too much force is being used and the connector pin is placed very low. That is why, when it comes to 510 batteries, it is advisable to tighten the tank only as much as it is necessary for creating contact among the coil base and the battery head in order to prevent tightening it too much.
A spring-loaded pin is a component which can be found in some EVOD batteries and its function is to keep this problem from happening. You should be very careful with the ones that do not have a spring-loaded pin incorporated, because when you tighten them too much you will push the small round pin placed in the 510 connectors too low. This way, it will not touch your tank or charger's 510 thread and it will appear as if the battery is inoperative or the charger is malfunctioning. If this happens, try as much as you can to adjust the internal pin.
There is one simple method to discover whether your battery has a spring-loaded pin incorporated or not. Carefully try to lower the connector pin of the vape pen. A battery which has a spring-loaded pin will enable the pin to go down and come back up again. If you notice that this is not the case, then your battery doesn't have this kind of pin and you should not push it any further.
Don't feel hopeless if your battery doesn't have any power or charge. The sole problem might be the pin and the possibility of reviving your battery is pretty good.
You can easily take care of this issue since it is not complicated at all, but you have to be very gentle.
- Carefully try to move the center pin of the battery a little by using a toothpick, a pair of thin tweezers, or any other object which is very much alike them. Place the toothpick between the thread wall and the pin.
- Try doing this gently on one side of the pin. After you finish, repeat the same procedure on the other side of the pin in order to pull the internal contact to a small extent. Check if the battery is working by connecting it.
- If it is still inoperable, i.e. if it doesn't have any power or charge, try pulling the pin a bit more. Be gentle and do not pull it too much because it can easily separate itself from the battery. In case this happens, consider your battery completely damaged.
In most of the cases, this simple method is going to revive your EVOD battery. So, don't just give up on it! Try performing the above-mentioned steps very carefully and you might see positive results.
When you are done, do not tighten the tank too much into the battery. It is possible that the tank's thread is longer than usual and if you use too much force when tightening it, it will cause the pin to go too low and no contact will be established. Instead of tightening the thread until it stops, try tightening the tank as much as it is necessary to just create contact and power up.
